The moebius strip, a single-sided surface, is created by putting a twist
in a long
rectangular piece of paper and gluing the ends together. If you trace
your finger
around a moebius strip you move infinitely around on a single surface;
inside
becomes outside, outside becomes inside, up becomes down, and down up.

Because of these ambiguities a moebius seemed an appropriate metaphor
for
exploring the enormity and complexity of this catastrophic event.

The eight moebius strips also form a spectrum. Just as a single color is a component part of the spectrum each print, marked by a single central color band, focuses an aspect. |

Like all collages these prints were made from found and created visuals,
however, rather held together by glue these images were united digitally.
